A Summer Is Coming…And So Are The Stories…
Backstage
29 May 2025Hello Wonder Fools pals,
Summer is coming…After months of planning, we’re thrilled to say the Positive Stories Festivals are just two weeks away! We kick things off at the Tron Theatre on 7–8 June, and can’t wait to welcome you to a packed programme of performances—from brand new plays in our latest season of Positive Stories for Negative Times to plays across Season’s One, Two and Three.
We’re excited to introduce the brilliant groups taking part across all four festivals. Tickets are now live—click the links below to book for your nearest venue.
But that’s not all…
We’re also proud to be producing Isla Cowan’s critically acclaimed Alright Sunshine, heading to the Edinburgh Fringe this August at the Pleasance Dome as part of the Edinburgh National Partnerships with support from the Tron Theatre.
And looking ahead, we’ll soon be announcing the full Autumn tour for Òran—watch this space.
We were also delighted to find out A Christmas Carol has been nominated for Best Pantomime at the 2025 CATS Awards.
This month we spent the week on the first development for a new Wonder Fools play, Dark Harvest Commando thanks to the National Theatre Studio for supporting and providing us the space to develop this new show.
Finally, we’ve just returned from an exciting two-week residency in South Korea with TheatreSAN, developing ideas for a brand-new international collaboration. More to come…
